Leocadia is an independent lifestyle and gift store based in the heart of Dartmouth, Devon, thoughtfully curated with beautiful pieces designed to bring a little joy to everyday life.
Before opening Leocadia, I spent over 10 years working in retail, always with a quiet dream of one day opening my own shop. That dream became a reality when Leocadia opened its doors just six weeks before my 30th birthday - a milestone moment that still feels a little surreal!
The shop originally began life as Amberhoney, focused solely on my candle brand and a small selection of artwork created by my husband, Jack. Over time, as we began introducing a few carefully chosen independent brands, the shop naturally evolved into what is now Leocadia; a curated space filled with thoughtful gifts, homeware, jewellery, stationery and self-care essentials.
Today, we stock a mix of beautifully made products, predominantly from UK-based independent brands, and you’ll still find Amberhoney candles and Jack Wotton’s artwork and cards, which have grown from a handful of prints into a much-loved part of the collection.
Leocadia is built on a love of thoughtful design, independent creativity and the joy of finding pieces that feel special, whether they’re chosen as a gift or a personal treat. We hope everything in the shop brings a little warmth, character and everyday brightness into your home.
Thank you for being part of the Leocadia story.
